Regulation support should feel human, practical, and accessible.

Neurostead Learning Solutions was created to help children, educators, therapists, and families move beyond disconnected SEL lessons and toward regulation support that works in real moments.

Founder of Neurostead Learning Solutions

Meet the founder

I created Neurostead after years of seeing the same gap: children were being taught regulation skills during calm moments, but they often couldn’t access those skills when stress, frustration, or dysregulation actually showed up.

As an educator, Army Veteran, and parent, I understand how much children need clear, repeatable tools — and how much adults need practical strategies they can actually use in busy classrooms, therapy spaces, and homes.

Neurostead was built to make regulation support more concrete, more consistent, and more usable in the moments that matter most.

What we believe

Self-regulation is not built through one-time lessons. It grows through repetition, relationship, and support children can return to again and again.

Regulation is teachable

Children can build regulation skills when adults make the process simple, consistent, and repeatable.

Real moments matter

Strategies need to work during stress, transitions, frustration, and recovery — not only during calm instruction.

Adults need tools too

Educators, therapists, and caregivers need practical support that fits into real life, not another overwhelming program.

The Neurostead approach

Everything we create is grounded in the TICK™ Framework: Take Time, Identify Emotion, Choose Strategy, and Keep Going.
